Yes. The Glen’s covenants require that exterior modifications — additions, structures, fencing, major landscaping, paint colors, and similar changes — be approved by the Architectural Review Committee before work begins. Submit an Architectural Request Form (available on our Documents page) and wait for written approval.
The committee aims to review complete requests within a few days of submission. Providing clear plans, materials, colors, and a site sketch up front helps avoid delays. You’ll receive the decision in writing.
Common examples include room additions, patios and decks, fences, storage buildings, exterior paint color changes, roof replacements, and significant landscaping or grading. When in doubt, submit a request or contact the board before starting.
Annual HOA dues are approximately $495 per home. Statements are mailed to homeowners, and the due date is noted on your statement. Watch your mailbox and the Announcements section of our homepage for the current billing.
Dues fund basic association management and the upkeep of common areas — neighborhood entrances, curbed common grounds, and walking paths — that keep The Glen looking its best and help protect property values.
Payment instructions are included with your annual statement. If you need a replacement statement or have a question about your balance, contact the board and we’ll help.
Trash is handled through Jefferson County’s service and is collected on Wednesday.
Rental policies are governed by the community’s recorded covenants. Before listing a home as a short-term rental, review the CC&Rs on our Documents page and contact the board to confirm what’s permitted.
Rentals are non-transferable. If a new tenant moves in, the owner must reapply with the HOA.
Jefferson County maintains public streets. The HOA maintains the neighborhood’s common areas & streets — entrances, curbed common grounds, and walking paths. If you notice an issue in a common area, let the board know.
The Glen sits directly alongside the award-winning 27-hole Bent Brook Golf Course, a separate public facility. Residents enjoy the scenic setting and easy proximity, though golf membership and tee times are arranged directly with the course.
The HOA is required to review ARC requests with the GC management on any Golf Course Adjacent Properties.
